Call for Driver-Volunteers

Events 19 April 2016

We are always on the look out for driver-volunteers to support our respite groups.

Volunteering with charity can be hard work, but rewarding, here are comments from a recent survey of our volunteers.

“Being involved with a group that I feel passionate about and seeing the positive effects of the work we do. It’s lovely seeing the Young Carers develop into confident, successful, Young Adults. ”

“I enjoy volunteering to see children with smiling faces and enjoying themselves and knowing that I am part of that ”

“Being with the children and knowing we are bringing some respite even if it is for a few hours.”

“Building new relationships. Improving my communication skills. Sense of friendship. Visiting new places. Sharing hobbies and interests. Witnessing my befriendee’s personal development. ”
