Charity fundraiser for WLCC at Leigh Leopards v Wigan Warriors derby match

We are absolutely thrilled that Leigh Leopards and Wigan Warriors have chosen to support Wigan and Leigh Young Carers at this Friday’s Betfred Super League Final derby game.

Our team of volunteers will be outside the ground and in the Fanzone before the game with our charity collection buckets – so spectators, please bring along any kind donations.

As many of you know, young carers receive no statutory funding for respite, breaks and activities – we totally rely on fundraising, grants and donations to provide this to young carers in our Borough.

We are so grateful for this very generous support.

This is great opportunity to come together as a group, and raise awareness of all carers and the role they play in our communities.

We are excited to see you all on Friday night for the big game!!
