Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre (WLCC) have partnered with Supported Giving, which will further enhance the fundraising capabilities of the Charity.

Through the new partnership with supported giving, you can now support the work delivered by WLCC by either choosing to donate on a one-off or monthly basis. All funds received will help us to provide a continuous outstretched helping hand with information, advice, guidance, face-to-face support and respite to the Borough’s unpaid carers.

The platform offers a range of payment options for you to choose from; including major credit and debit cards and mobile wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal.

Supported Giving partners with charities to implement cashless donation technology in a time when people are using less cash. Supported Giving specialise in QR code donation points meaning by just a QR scan on your phone you can donate to the charity within minutes!

Bernadette Ashcroft, commented: “We are incredibly excited to link up with Supported Giving and to expand upon our own fundraising capabilities.  As a registered charity we are always seeking new avenues into raising additional funds to support the vast range of community support that we deliver. Everything we provide, every aspect of frontline support – from one to one support or one-off trips for young carers to wellbeing sessions for adults and volunteer befriending – is helped by public gifting, whether a few or a few hundred pounds.”
