Fond Farewell to Sue Haywood

Charity News 28 September 2023

Today we said our fond farewells to one of our amazing Carers Assessors, Sue Haywood who is retiring.

Sue has worked at the Carers Centre for 6 years as an experienced Assessor. She has supported many carers during this time, providing essential support and advice to enhance their wellbeing whilst caring for their loved ones. She has worked tirelessly in her local community often meeting carers to offer support and a listening ear. She is a huge part of the Assessment Team and will be greatly missed by all.

We wish Sue a long and happy retirement and best wishes for the future.

Some messages from her colleagues:
“Always one to cheer you up, our rugby chats always made me smile.”

“Enjoy your lie in’s, pyjama days and plentiful holidays. All the very best for your retirement not forgetting childminding duties xx Andrea.”

“My car journeys to the Centre for meetings are going to be a lot quieter now!! I’ll miss our little chats. Thank you for all your support, you have given to me. Best wishes as you start a new chapter xx Sarah Cusani.”

Enjoy every moment of your retirement Sue, lots of love
