Holiday respite for carers and their families

We are of course biased and think our holiday home in Blackpool is the best…. BUT there are other opportunities in case you want something a little different.

Take a look at Homelands in Fife, Scotland. It’s purpose built, brand new accommodation designed for adults with disabilities and their families in mind. The Paxton Centre open Autumn 2014.

The Paxton Centre is a welcoming environment where a variety of therapies and day activities will be on offer. It will also be a hub for information or indeed a place to relax and enjoy a cuppa and a chat.
It is planned that therapists will offer a range of services from our four therapy rooms. Some being considered include foot care, aromatherapy, massage, music therapy… Additionally there will be activities on offer, which might include gardening, walking, cycling, dominoes, card games, DVD movie nights etc
