Megan’s winning competition entry design has been released!!

A 14-year-old young carer’s design is the inspiration behind Wigan’s new carers awareness logo.

Megan Crawford’s fantastic design was selected as the winning entry after the council launched a compeition during Carers Week earlier this summer.

The logo will be made into a pin badge and used by everybody that takes part in the free carer awareness sessions launching this year.

It will show a person has a basic understating of what a carer is and where carers can access support and opportunities across the borough.
