Starling CIO are looking for neurodivergent creatives

Starling are looking for neurodivergent creatives aged 16-25 in Greater Manchester who are interested in pursuing a career in the arts.

The Creative Industries Insights Programme will offer bespoke one-to-one support to 16 neurodivergent young people who are not currently in employment, education or training, to develop knowledge and understanding of the creative industries, increase employability skills and develop confidence and resilience.

The programme will be delivered in 3 Stages and provide 20 digital training sessions, 4 Workplace Taster Days and 10 hours per participant of bespoke 1-2-1 support. All young people will have the opportunity to complete a Bronze Arts Award, an accredited Level 1 qualification, as part of the programme.

This training is completely free and we will support participants with digital equipment if needed. Each participant will also be able to access vouchers to spend on items of their choice to support their skills development. This may be art materials, a magazine or software subscription, a training course, books etc.

Neurodivergent? = autism, adhd, learning disability, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, Tourette’s, epilepsy, mental health, and/or trauma.
