WALYC training courses for Easter and Summer Half Term

Wigan and Leigh Young Carers in collaboration with Optu and Training 2 All and supported by the Wigan Council Carers Training Grant are running four training courses for during the Easter and Summer half Term Holidays.

We have run these courses before, and they have been received well.

Because the First Aid course is accredited, Young Carers need to be 14 or older, and the media and presentation skills course is generally aimed at 15 and above. We will consider more mature YCs below this age.

Each day can accept 8-12 trainees, and lunch will be provided.

Anyone unable to make it to the Venue can be provided with a lift.

Group leaders will be asking all relevant Young Carers whether they are interested.
