WLCC welcomes Admiral Nurses, Mark & Tracy

We had the pleasure of welcoming Wigan’s Admiral Nurses, Mark Oakley and Tracy Kirkham who came to deliver a clinic for carers on Friday.

Admiral Nurses provide the specialist dementia support that families need. When things get challenging or difficult, Nurses work alongside people living with dementia, their families and carers: giving the one-to-one support, expert guidance and practical solutions people need, and that can be hard to find elsewhere.

The unique dementia expertise and experience an Admiral Nurse brings is a lifeline, helping families to live more positively with dementia in the present, and to face the challenges of tomorrow with more confidence and less fear.
