Carers Right Day –  Thursday 24th November!

Save the date to help unpaid carers find out more about their rights!

This Carers Rights Day we want as many organisations and individuals as possible to help us:

· Ensure carers are aware of their rights
· Let carers know where to get help and support
· Raise awareness of the needs of carers

You can catch Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre at these pop up events this week:

Come along and join us for an informal chat around Carers Rights and the support available.  Tea, coffee and cake will be provided. You will have chance to chat to colleagues from Adult Social Care, Carer Champions, Community Link Workers and Welfare Rights too.

Carers Rights information sessions with Coop Legal and Citizens Advice Bureau 
When: Thursday 24th November 2022
Where: Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre, Hindley
Time: -1.30 pm – 4 pm

Coop Legal services will be here to offer guidance and support with Lasting Power of Attorney, inheritance tax, protecting family’s nest egg and sideways disinheritance.

Citizens Advice Bureau will be available to answer any of our questions around legal, debt, finance, housing, immigration, health and much more.
