Celebrating Volunteers Week 2023

This National Volunteers’ Week, we wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to the amazing team of over 80 volunteers who dedicate their time and skills to help us to support carers of all ages.

Without them, our work would simply not be possible.

The contribution of volunteers is often unseen and unrecognised by many, visible only through the incredible impact of their volunteering.

2023 marks the 39th year of Volunteers’ Week, which takes place from June 1 to June 7 – a week we love to celebrate!

This week we will be highlighting the wonderful, generous and kind volunteers who support us at Wigan and Leigh Carers. Whether it is up front or behind the scenes, or whether it’s in a volunteer capacity supporting our young carers.  We thank you, we appreciate you and we see your heart!
