Salary £18877 per annum
Funded initially to 31March 2015
Base Higher Ince, Wigan (tbc) & will include borough wide travel
Holidays 22 days per annum, plus public holidays

Brief Description:
Friends of Young Carers (Wigan & Leigh) is the main provider of services to Young Carers and their families in the Wigan borough. We have an exciting staffing opportunity due to new funding sources.
The post will work alongside our Project Manager, Volunteers and Wigan & Leigh Carers Centre staff.
We are seeking candidates with a background in social care, education or health to facilitate provision of appropriate support to the Young Carer, according to the individual need. An understanding of the issues and a demonstrable commitment to Young Carers is essential.
This position is subject to enhanced DBS.
